Celebrating 40 Years!

You are cordially invited to join us for a celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the West Hickory Senior Center.


Friday, September 27, from 11am to 2pm at 400 17th Street SW, Hickory.


Drop by the Senior Center to enjoy music, refreshments, and fellowship.


The Catawba County Council on Aging was formed in 1976 by our first Executive Director, Margie Abernethy. The West Hickory Senior Center was built three years later and is operated by the Council of Aging.
