The West Hickory Senior Center activities and events are on hold due to COVID-19. However, the following services are available by appointment:


Food Pantry (delivery available)

Fan, Mask, and Activity Book Distribution (while supplies last)

Medicare Counseling (by phone)

Advance Directives Counseling

Virtual Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group

Senior Center Closed Feb 2 and 3, 2026

The West Hickory Senior Center will be closed Monday, Feb 2, and Tuesday, Feb 3, 2026 due to inclement weather. The AARP Tax Phone will not operate due to the senior center closure.

 
 
 
Call for vendors-2026 Fall Craft Market

The Council on Aging will hold our annual fundraiser, the Fall Craft Market, on Sept 26, 2026. Call COA at 828-328-2269 if you are interested in being a craft vendor at the event.
