On May 5, Catawba County Council of Aging was recognized by Catawba Valley Community College with a Community Partnership Award for outstanding dedication, commitment, and support of educational opportunities for senior citizens in our community. CVCC has partnered with the West Hickory Senior Center, operated by the Council on Aging, to provide non-credit classes each year since 1980.

Due to inclement weather, the West Hickory Senior Center will close at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
The West Hickory Senior Center will be closed for the holidays December 22-January 1.
